The Firm’s present staff
consists of the four CPA Principals, eleven additional Certified Public
Accountants, four degreed accountants (two of which are Enrolled Agents),
three accounting para-professionals, a computer systems’ manager and
seven additional administrative support personnel. A very brief summary of the Firm’s
professionals follows:
G. Michael Martin, CPA:
(Principal since 1976.) Received
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida
in 1968. Certified in Florida
in 1973. Member of AICPA, FICPA, Phi Kappa Phi and Trustee of American
Legion Scholarship Fund. Career includes over thirty-five years of varied
experience in public accounting, including past "Big Six"
accounting firm experience. Serves as the Firm's designated Audit
Partner.
Gary B. Sellari, CPA/PFS, MSM:
(Principal since 1982.) Received Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration from St. Vincent College, Latrobe,
Pennsylvania in 1972. Certified in Florida in 1975. Passed all parts of CPA exam on first
attempt. Received Masters in the
Science of Management (MSM) degree with a specialization in Taxation from
Florida International University
in 1979. Received the PFS
(Personal Financial Specialist) designation from the AICPA in 1990. Member of AICPA and FICPA. Career includes over thirty-five years
of varied experience in public accounting. Serves as the Firm’s designated Tax
Partner and as an Officer in the registered investment advisory Firm of
Castle Wealth Management.
J. Ronald Anderson, CPA/ABV, CVA:
(Principal
since 2001.) Received Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern
Adventist University in 1976 and began public accounting in that same
year. Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee
in July 1978 and in Florida
in June 1979. Worked four years with an international CPA firm. Operated
his own CPA firm for twelve years before joining our Firm in 1994. Member
of AICPA and FICPA. Received the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
designation in December 1995, issued by the National Association of
Certified Valuation Analysts. Received the Accredited in Business
Valuation (ABV) designation in February 1999, and a Certificate of
Educational achievement in Business Valuation in September 1997, both
issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Scott
A. Stein, CPA:
(Principal since 2010.) Received
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from C.W.
Post College,
School of Professional Accounting (graduated
cum laude) in 1979. Certified in Florida and New York State. Member of AICPA, FICPA, NYSSCPA and
other professional and civic organizations. Partner in his own CPA firm before
joining our Firm. Over thirty
years experience in public accounting specializing in business and
individual taxation and tax planning.
Has been with the Firm since 1997.
Christine McKenna, CPA:
Received Bachelors
degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode
Island in 1988, with a major in Accounting.
Member of AICPA and FICPA. Certified in Florida in 1994. Has been with the
Firm since 1989, and specializes primarily in gift, estate and trust tax
issues.
Suzi Rapp, CPA, MAC:
Received Bachelor's
degree from Oral
Roberts University
in 1993 with a major in Accounting. Received Master's degree in
Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation from Florida Atlantic
University in 1998.
Passed the CPA exam in 1995 and became certified in Florida in 1998. Member of AICPA and
FICPA. Joined the Firm in 1999.
Mary L. Contessa, CPA:
Received a Bachelor's degree (at the age of 19) in Business
Administration from Florida
Atlantic University
in 1980, with a major in Accounting. Passed the CPA exam and became
certified in Florida
in 1982. Member of AICPA and FICPA. Presently pursuing the Certified
Forensic Accountant designation. Is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
Joined the Firm in 2002.
Steve A. Goindoo. MTAX, CPA/PFS, CFP:
Received Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the State University of New
York at New Paltz and a Master of Taxation degree from Florida Atlantic
University. Holds
the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation and the Personal
Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA. Certified in the States
of Florida and New York. Member of AICPA, FICPA and
NYSSCPA. Prior to DBMS, worked 9 years with one of the top 20 CPA firms
in New York City
and was the Tax Manager of a local CPA firm for 11 years. Background
includes varied public accounting experience, with an emphasis on
individual, business, estate and trust taxation and planning. Joined the
Firm in 2005.
Arthur J. Sinnott, CPA:
Received Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University,
Hempstead, New York in 1977. Certified in the
State of Florida- Specializes
in auditing, with experience in governmental engagements. Joined the Firm
in 2007.
Jamie M. Russo, CPA:
Received Bachelor's degree(s) in Business Administration, with majors in
Accounting and Marketing from Florida
Atlantic University.
Certified in the State of Florida.
Member of AICPA and FICPA. Joined the Firm in 2008.
April Merry Sinnott, CPA:
Received Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration from the University
of Florida in
1983. Certified in Florida in
1987. Member of AICPA, FICPA and
other civic organizations. Partner
in her own CPA firm before joining our Firm. Career includes over twenty-five years
of varied experience in public accounting. Has been with the Firm since 2009.
Brandon
Charles Sellari, CPA, MTAX:
Received a Bachelor’s degree
in Business Administration from the University
of Central Florida in 2004 and a
Master’s of Taxation degree from Nova University
in 2008. Certified in Florida in
2009. Member of AICPA, FICPA. Joined the Firm in 2005.
Anthony Hoffmaster, CPA:
Received a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of South Florida
in 2006, with a major in Accounting.
Certified in Florida
in 2010. Passed all parts of the
CPA exam on first attempt with a 93.4% average. Member of AICPA and FICPA. Presently pursuing a Master’s of
Taxation degree. Joined the Firm
in 2006.
Theodore M. Wexler, CPA:
Received Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania
State University in 1959, with a major in Accounting. Certified in
Pennsylvania. Member of AICPA and PICPA. Career includes over fifty
years of varied experience in public and industrial accounting, with an
emphasis on auditing, taxation; and tax planning. Has been an instructor
of accounting at Pennsylvania
State University.
Joined the Firm in 1999.
Victoria P. Grubbs, CPA:
Received Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of
Phoenix. Certified in Wisconsin. Received a Master's of Taxation degree
from Golden Gate
University. Joined
the Firm in July 2005.
Anthony J. Sellari, EA:
Received Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from Slippery Rock State College in Pennsylvania.
Certified by the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent
specializing in individual, corporate and partnership tax matters, in
addition to retirement plan administration. Member of AICPA, FICPA and
NAEA. Joined the Firm in 1985.
Jacqueline
Cartier, EA:
Received Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from University of South Florida
in 1985 with a major in Accounting. Certified by the Internal Revenue
Service as an Enrolled Agent specializing in individual, corporate and
partnership tax matters. Member of AICPA, FICPA and NAEA. Joined the Firm
in 1985.
Barbara
Ahearn:
Received a Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from Curry
College, Milton, MA.
Presently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Is a Certified Quickbooks
ProAdvisor. Joined the Firm in
2005.
Bradley
M. Anderson:
Received a Bachelor's
degree in Accounting from Florida
Atlantic University.
Presently pursuing the CPA designation. Joined the Firm in 2008.
Dustan J. Brown:
Received a Bachelor's
degree in Accounting from West Chester University, West Chester,
Pennsylvania in 1994. Presently pursuing the CPA designation. Career includes over 10 years of public
accounting experience, specializing in accounting and auditing. Joined
the Firm in 2011.
Marty A. Taylor, CNE, MCSE, MCP+l, A+
Received extensive
training on chemical compounding and computerized production techniques
for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and natural health care industries
before attending FAU to receive certifications for CNE (Novell) A+
(COMPTIA), MCSE and MCP+I (Microsoft). Since becoming certified, he has
worked with legal, government, healthcare, communication and financial
institutions throughout South Florida.
Manages all aspects of the Firm's IT resources including, but not limited
to, troubleshooting, maintenance, design and implementation. He also
provides IT consulting services for DBMS clients. Joined the Firm in 2006.
